About dog agility
Dog agility is a sport where a handler guides a dog over a course of jumps, tunnels, weaves and contact equipment. Agility is not only great fun for both dog and handler but it mentally and physically stimulates your dog (and yourself) improving the bond with your dog. Old Mill dog agility club only uses positive reward based training methods to ensure a happy motivated dog.

Agility is suitable for most breeds of dogs except for puppies and some giant breeds. If in any doubt please check with your vet before starting sports with your dogs. Even if you are never wanting to compete at agility it is important to properly learn the foundations of handling and using the equipment, this ensures safety for yourself and your dog
